Jerry Driehorst

Jerry Kay Driehorst, 81, of Phoenix, Arizona, was the son of Theodore and Estelle Meacus Driehorst. He was born August 4, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio and died July 18, 2011 at Scottsdale HealthcareOsborn in Scottsdale, Arizona. A Korea and Vietnam veteran, Jerry served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He was a fighter pilot who achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring from the military in 1971. He enjoyed golfing, bike riding, walking and shooting and had a passion for his stereo equipment and tools. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Brother Aaron Summers will officiate. Inurnment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home of Perry. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Seventh Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Jerry is survived by one son, Dan Driehorst , of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma two daughters, Suzi Warden and her husband, Steve, of Perry, Oklahoma and Cindy Driehorst, of Phoenix, Arizona five grandchildren, Ami Warden and Cheryl Curtis and her husband, James, all of Perry, Oklahoma, Shawn Warden and his wife, Kiley, of Cushing, Oklahoma, Nicole Driehorst, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Sterling Driehorst, of Phoenix, Arizona 10 greatgrandchildren, Austin Zobisch and Kaliegh Driehorst, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Hannah Condit, Camber Curtis, Hesston WardenIvers and Callie Curtis, all of Perry, Oklahoma, Kaityn Jolly and Jolie Jolly, both of Cushing, Oklahoma and Coleson Warden and Adrienne Warden, both of Yukon, Oklahoma one greatgreatgrandson, Gunner Condit, of Perry, Oklahoma and one brother, William Driehorst, of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives and one daughter, Dawna Lenore Driehorst.
