Winnie Voise

Winnie Beier Voise, 100, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Edward Jacob and Marie Schiettek Beier. She was born January 24, 1905 in Radomyschl, Ukraine, Russia. She moved with her parents from Russia to the local area. She and H.F. Henry Voise were married in 1922 at the Zion Lutheran Church, east of Perry. She became a United States citizen in 1941. Winnie was a homemaker who enjoyed making quilts and braided rugs. She also loved music and instilled a love of music in her children. She was a dedicated member of Zion Lutheran Church and the WELCA Circle. She always baked kuchen for her family and friends who stopped by and was an excellent bread baker. Her husband preceded her in death on July 7, 1965. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at Zion Lutheran Church, east of Perry. Rev. Craig Groseclose will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry. Survivors are one daughter, Bernice Schieffer, of Perry, Oklahoma, two sons, Henry Hank Voise, of Perry, Oklahoma and Roland Voise and his wife, Susan, of Arlington, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Wade Voise and his wife, Marilynn of Morrison, Oklahoma, Kevin Voise of Bedford, Texas, Phillip Voise, of Arlington, Texas, Amber Riley and her husband, Randy, of Manfield, Texas, Dana Kale and her husband, Todd, of Dallas, Texas, Dennis Schieffer and his wife, Denise, of Temecula, California, Marilyn Taber, and her husband, Larry, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Weldon Schieffer and his wife, Sherri, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Ranay Roth and her husband, Dr. Martin Roth, of Perry, Oklahoma and Wally Schieffer and his wife, Sherri, of Perry, Oklahoma; 21 great-grandchildren, Russell Voise, Lauren Voise, Caroline Kale, Nicholas Kale, Joslyn Spraggin, Ariel Spraggin, Peter Schieffer, Russell Schieffer, Tyler Prim, Jonathan Taber, Kathryn Taber, Erin Knox, Russell Knox, Lora Schieffer, Sara Schieffer, Kristin Schieffer, Leslie Maloney, Pat Maloney, Cody Roth, Matthew Schieffer and Anna Schieffer; two great-great-grandchildren, Emily Taber and Elizabeth Taber; one sister, Bertha Frank, of Perry, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Winnie was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Nadine Lee Eissenstat, one great-grandson, Adam Voise, six brothers, Benjamin Beier, Albert Beier, Emil Beier, August Beier, Julius Beier and Alex Beier, and three sisters, Lydia Voise, Millie Rupp and Emma Rupp. Condolences may be sent to the family using our online guest book at www.brown-duggerfuneralhome.com.
