Winnie Brown

Winnie M. Brown, 74, of Perry, Oklahoma, was born on December 25, 1933 in Tyrone, Oklahoma and died Friday, August 29, 2008 at her home. On November 8, 1952, Winnie married Samuel Clayton Brown in Perry, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1998. Winnie worked several years at Cooper Olds and GMC and Mr. C's before retiring. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Winnie enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening, her pets and her beloved John Deere tractor. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion at Grace Hill Cemetery. Rev. Ed Cook will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Winnie is survived by one daughter, Sandra Sills of Lawton, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Mark Sills of Lawton, Oklahoma, Scott Sills of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Michelle Monholland of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Schuyler Sills of Dover, Delaware; six great-grandchildren and one sister, Shirley Jerome of Perry, Oklahoma.
