Wilma I. Roberts, 81, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Frank and Minnie Lyons Ward. She was born March 18, 1925 in Waco, Kansas and died Monday, July 31, 2006 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Perry, Oklahoma. Wilma and Charles Alvin Roberts were married on February 14, 1942 in El Dorado, Kansas. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1998. Wilma was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Singles and Couples Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and traveling and was a volunteer at Perry Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Perry, Oklahoma. Brother Aaron Summers will officiate. Interment will be in the Marshall Lions North Cemetery at Marshall, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Wilma is survived by three sons, Kenneth Roberts, of Kingston, Tennessee, Alvin Fay Roberts, Chaparral, New Mexico and Harold Roberts, of Kaw City, Oklahoma; four daughters, Betty Fritsche, of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Shirley Dunn, of Mulvane, Kansas, Karen Sue Brown, of Cincinnati, Ohio and Linda Ann Stoops, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Forrest Ward, of Wichita, Kansas and Donnie Ward, of Lincoln, Nebraska; and two sisters, Ruby Tevepaugh, of Terrebonne, Oregon, and Fern Orr, of Lamar, Colorado. In addition to her husband, her parents, one son, Glen Roberts; two sisters, Margaret Klopp and Rachel Ward; and one brother, Earl Ward, preceded her in death.
