William Ray Edmiston, 80 years, passed away on November 18, 2004 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Edmiston, a former local farmer, oil businessman and master electrician was a United States Air Force Veteran, having served both in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Irene Edmiston, daughter, Susan Lynn Matthews, sister, Margaret Muselmann and parents, David Leroy and Margaret Ellen Edmiston. Survivors include his children, William Ray Edmiston, Jr. and wife Peggy, Henry Edmiston and wife Polly, John Edmiston and wife Janice, Stephen Edmiston and fianc Allison, Karen Teachman, Mary Legate and husband David; brothers, David Edmiston and wife Tiny, Edward Edmiston and wife Dolores; sisters, Mary White and husband Ray, Catherine Doyle and husband Stan, Joann Murray and brother-in-law Clifford Muselmann. He also is survived by 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening, November 21, 2004 with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m., both being held at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday morning, November 22, 2004 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 10688 Shadow Wood Dr., Houston, TX 77043 with Reverend Michael J. Carmody, Celebrant. Services in Houston are under the direction of Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home. Rite of Committal will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma.
