Willene Mornhinweg, 84, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Arland and Glenna Johnson Luter. She was born June 5, 1927 at Biggers, Arkansas and died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry. After her fathers death, Willene was raised by her mother and stepfather, Wes Osborne. She was a 1945 graduate of Red Rock High School. She and Oscar Virgil Mornhinweg were married on May 26, 1946 at Ceres, Oklahoma. Her husband preceded her in death on June 29, 1992. She was a homemaker, a member of the Ceres Christian Church, the Red Rock Garden Club, Ceres Ladies Aide and the Ceres Home Demonstration Club. Willene was a volunteer at the Soup Kitchen in Perry and served as secretary of the Ceres Cemetery Association. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Ceres Christian Church at Ceres, Oklahoma. Don Horton will officiate and will be assisted by Pastor Chris Short. Interment will be in the Ceres Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry. Willene is survived by two sons, Rick Mornhinweg and his wife, Dolores, and Steve Mornhinweg and his wife, Claudia, all of Stillwater, Oklahoma one daughter, Melanie Williams and her husband, Dennis, of Red Rock, Oklahoma a foster son, Dale Barnett, of Stillwater, Oklahoma ten grandchildren, Anton Mornhinweg, Paul Mornhinweg both of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Arland Mornhinweg of Portland, Maine, Gary Mornhinweg of Edmond, Oklahoma, Jeff Mornhinweg, of Alexandria, Virginia, Mindy Kiser, of Cleveland, Tennessee, Marty Williams of Red Rock, Oklahoma, Megan Ripley of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Janelda Lane, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Valary Williams, of McCall, Idaho twelve greatgrandchildren, two brothers, Harold Luter, of Red Rock, Oklahoma and John Osborne, of San Antonio, Texas and one sister, Carolyn Dyson, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her husband, her father, mother and stepfather, Wes Osborne, one baby sister, Glenda Louise Luter and one daughter in law, Carole Barnett.
