Willard Polifka

Willard M. Polifka, 62, of Garber, Oklahoma was the son of Louis and Beatrice Malon Polifka. He was born April 17, 1944 in Garber, Oklahoma and died Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the Sumner County Hospital, District 1, in Caldwell, Kansas. Willard worked as a salesman and enjoyed spending time on the family farm, fishing, tennis and dominoes. He was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church in Enid, Oklahoma and always enjoyed attending church services and participating in church activities. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Billings, Oklahoma. Father Mike Wheelahan will officiate. Interment will be in the Garber Cemetery at Garber, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home of Garber, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Garber, Oklahoma 73738. Willard is survived by one brother, George Polifka, of Garber, Oklahoma and two sisters, Judy Clark, of Waukomis, Oklahoma and Caroline Mays, of Edmond, Oklahoma. His parents preceded him in death.
