Tommy Allen Petersen, 64, of Garber, Oklahoma, was the son of Holger and Cora Christopherson Petersen. He was born April 1, 1948 in Onida, South Dakota and died Monday, February 4, 2013 in Enid, Oklahoma. He served his country in the United States Navy and did a tour in Vietnam. Tommy enjoyed watching T.V. especially Gunsmoke, and westerns. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, seeing his grandkids, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Memorial services and family gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Garber Fire Department Reception Room in Garber, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Garber, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Garber Little League Baseball in care of Dugger Funeral Home, 401 Arapaho, Garber, Oklahoma 73738 Tommy is survived by his two sons, Tommy Petersen of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Jimmy Petersen and his wife Jamie of Enid, Oklahoma two daughters, Tonia Butcher and her husband Chris of Garber, Oklahoma, Dana Greg of Prue, Oklahoma, five brothers, Richard Petersen and his wife Gloria of Hendricks, Minnesota, Harry Petersen and Leon Petersen both of Wichita, Kansas, Jerry Petersen and his wife Loretta of Haysville, Kansas, Billy Petersen of the Philippines two sisters, Gail Suddeth of Hayesville, Kansas, and Linda Knott of Hendricks, Minnesota eight grandchildren, Trevin, Tanner and Tyler Butcher, Mariah and Dylan Gray, Kylee, Jaydan and Layton Petersen one special friend and companion Gail Stafford of Garber, Oklahoma.
