Through her work, she touched countless lives, always embodying kindness and compassion. Known for her warmth and sweet disposition, she effortlessly cultivated connections with everyone she met.
Teresa’s laughter was infectious, and one of her cherished memories highlights this wonderfully. She once graced the stage in a school play, where she humorously walked straight into a "Brick Wall," leaving an indelible mark not only on the audience but on her heart as well.
As an avid lover of nature, Teresa found joy in the simple pleasures that surrounded her. She had a passion for sewing, collecting beautiful rocks and perfume bottles, and reveling in the colorful presence of yellow and purple flowers. Helping out at the family pumpkin patch delighted her, she loved helping and being with her sisters at her sister Renae’s pumpkin patch she looked forward to this every year. She held a spirited fondness for butterflies—which mirrored her own gentle spirit.
Family was everything to Teresa. She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Jamie McManus and her husband Sean of Sanger, Texas, and Brenda Tell and her husband Joey of Perry. She basked in the love of her grandchildren: “Laney” McManus and his wife Mia, Levi William McManus, Joseph Tell, and Alexander Tell, who brought her immense pride and joy. Her legacy continues through them, as they carry forth her values and spirit of generosity.
In addition to her immediate family, Teresa is survived by her devoted siblings Sherry Moser and her husband John, Rhonda Bristol and her husband Brian, Kathy Naser and her husband Muhib, Brenda Wheatley, Otis Batts and his wife Pam, Lisa Morrill and her husband John, Renae Kuhn and her husband Jon, and Michael Batts and his wife April. Not to be forgotten, she leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, a testament to her nurturing and amiable character. Her best friend, Angie Atkinson, and long-distance friends Denise Hackett and Trudy Malcom-Goodwin. will remember the laughter and joy they shared throughout the years.
While Teresa mourns the loss of her parents, her beloved husband Buddy Barnard, and her mother-in-law Dema Crain, those left behind find solace in the memories of a loving and kind soul who was a beacon of light in their lives.
