Sharon Springer

Sharon M. Springer was born October 23, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas to Otis and Lela (Odenwald) Sledge. She passed away July 10, 2015 in Oklahoma City at the age of 69 years.

Sharon attended Wichita State University where she received an associate's degree. She worked at a number of nursing homes as a CNA and was last employed by Visiting Angels in Florida. On April 18, 1999, Sharon was united in marriage with Richard Springer in Deland, Florida. They moved from Florida in May 2010, making Billings their home. She was a member of the First Church of God in Ponca City. Sharon obtained her license for ministry in 2006. She enjoyed sewing, making clothes, reading, working word puzzles, and Facebooking.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Richard Springer of the Billings home; one daughter, Christine Springer of Maryland; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Elton Sledge.

Memorial services will be 2pm, Friday, July 17, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Billings with Pastor Lonnie McVay officiating. Inurnment will follow in Union Cemetery in Billings, Oklahoma.
