Ruby Stout

Ruby Maxine Stout, 82, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Edgar and Josie Mitchell Bouton. She was born March 10, 1921 at Jefferson, Oklahoma and died at 5:40 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2003 at Greenbrier Nursing Home at Enid, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Grace Hill Cemetery. Rev. Buddy Hunt will officiate. Arrangements are under direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Memorials may be made to the Osteoporosis Foundation in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. In September, 1941, she and Chester Stout were married. Her husband preceded her in death in May, 1998. Ruby had worked as a caretaker at Enid State School before retirement. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting and visiting. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and participated in the Foster Grandparent program. Survivors are two sons, Ed Stout, of Enid, Oklahoma and Bob Stout, of Chickasha, Oklahoma; one daughter, Maxine Fields, of Perry, Oklahoma; and eight grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
