Ruben H. Gordon, 67, of Garber, Oklahoma was the son of Ruben A. and Hollie L. Hainey Gordon. He was born on August 26, 1945 in Enid, Oklahoma and died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Greebriar Skilled Nursing Center in Enid, Oklahoma. He married his best friend and sweetheart, Linda Sebranek on December 21, 1982. Ruben was a volunteer fireman for the Garber Volunteer Fire Department for twenty years and also served as a driver for the Garber Ambulance. He enjoyed flying model airplanes, driving stock cars, watching wrestling, fishing, camping, playing with his two cats Stanley and Baby Girl. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ruben was a member of the First Baptist Church of Garber, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Garber, Oklahoma. Pastor Tom LeGrand will officiate. Interment will be in the Garber Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Garber, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Garber Fire Department in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Garber, Oklahoma 73738 Ruben is survived by his wife, Linda Gordon of the home one granddaughter, Kacy Cooper of Okmulgee, Oklahoma one great granddaughter Madison Cooper of Okmulgee, Oklahoma one brother, Louis Harmon of Enid, Oklahoma two aunts, Pat Houska and Shirley McConnell both of Billings, Oklahoma one uncle, Jake Prince of Mulhall, Oklahoma two sistersinlaw, Patty Harrison, Teresa Coffee and her husband, Chris all of Enid, Oklahoma numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
