Ronnie Leon Curtis, 68, of Lucien, Oklahoma was the son of William Raymond and Thelma May Schwandt Curtis. He was born January 4, 1936 in Ada, Oklahoma and died Thursday, October 14, 2004 at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid, Oklahoma. On January 15, 1956, Ronnie and Georgia Kaiser were married at the Pleasant Hill United Brethren Church in Marshall, Oklahoma. Ronnie was a farmer who enjoyed oil wells and putting rigs together. Other interests included bulldozers, graders and dirt work. He built and flew his own plane and built his own coupe 40 dragster. He also enjoyed horses, antique tractors and being outside. Ronnie was a member of the Lucien United Methodist Church and the Noble County Antique Tractor Club. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2004 at the Lucien United Methodist Church. Rev. Paulette Albright will officiate. Services will be under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. A family visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2004 at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Lucien United Methodist Church or the Leukemia Society in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Georgia, two daughters, Ronda Henke and her husband Chuck of Lucien, Oklahoma and Sondra Barrett and her husband Dave of Perry, Oklahoma; three sisters, Donna Kapka and her husband Mike of Perry, Oklahoma, Gail Payne and her husband, Bill of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Kay Wall and her husband Lonnie of Edmond, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Jeremy Taulman and his wife Katrina of Payton, Colorado, Aaron Henke of Lucien, Oklahoma, Curtis White of Perry, Oklahoma, Steven White of Perry, Oklahoma, and Alison White of Perry, Oklahoma; and one great-granddaughter, Savanna Taulman of Payton, Colorado.
