Roger Wayne Knott, 50, of Perry, Oklahoma was the son of Tom Logan and Mary Olga Masters Knott. He was born February 28, 1955 in Perry, Oklahoma and died on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Perry Memorial Hospital. Roger was a 1973 graduate of Billings High School in Billings, Oklahoma and a 1979 graduate of Northern Oklahoma College at Tonkawa, Oklahoma. On May 24, 1980, he and Valerie Sue Horn were married at Billings, Oklahoma. He was a life-long resident of Noble County, Oklahoma. He was a 30-year employee of Rush MetalsCloyes Gear in Billings, Oklahoma and for the past several years had served as plant manager. Roger was a member of the Antelope Valley Church of Billings. His greatest joys in life were his family and pets. He had a life-long love for rock and roll music and performed in earlier years. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his love for people. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at the First Christian Church in Perry. Pastor Russell Betz will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry. Memorials may be made to P.A.W.S. of Perry or the Knott Children Education Fund in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077. In addition to his wife, Valerie, survivors are one son, Micheal Wayne Knott, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; two daughters, Heather Renee Frable and her husband, Aaron, of Perry, Oklahoma, and Alicia Denee Malget and her husband, Matt, of Billings, Oklahoma; one brother, Tom Logan Knott and his wife, Jana, of Norman, Oklahoma; and one sister, Carolyn Buchanan, of Wakita, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Mary Knott, and one brother, Micheal Wayne Knott.
