Ricky May

Ricky Don May, 47, of Blackwell, Oklahoma died Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at St. Frances Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born February 18, 1959 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Carmon and Dorothy McClain May. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the Blackwell Cemetery, with the Rev. Herb Rains officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Ricky was raised and educated in Blackwell, Oklahoma and graduated with the class of 1977. He attended Pioneer Technology Center in Ponca City, Oklahoma where he became a certified machinist. On August 29, 1986 Ricky was united in marriage to Renita Jo Rains at the First Baptist Church in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Ricky was employed by Blackwell Steel until it closed and then worked for LABW in Blackwell until failing health caused early retirement. His hobbies were cars, motorcycles, music and a special love for cooking. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Blackwell, Oklahoma. Ricky is survived by his wife Renita, of the home; his mother, Dorothy May of Blackwell, Oklahoma; one son, Billy J. Dover and wife Daun of Ponca City, Oklahoma; two sisters, Deanna Whitman of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Sue May of Ponca City, Oklahoma.
