Richard Mcdaris

Richard Everett McDaris, 60, of Blackwell was the son of Leo Joseph and Loyce A. Pemberton McDaris. He was born February 1, 1945 in Blackwell, Oklahoma and died April 24, 2005 at his home in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Richard was born and raised in Blackwell, Oklahoma and attended Blackwell Schools, graduating with the class of 1963. After graduation from High School he enlisted with the U.S. Marines and was stationed at Camp Pendleton in California. He was a truck driver for Greenfield Trucking in Blackwell up until the time of his death. A Memorial Service is set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005 at the Peckham Christian Church in Peckham, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction Dugger Funeral Home in Blackwell. He is survived by his mother, Loyce A. McDaris of Blackwell; two sons, Richard Joseph McDaris of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Christopher Kyle McDaris of Oklahoma; one brother, Gary Dean McDaris of Blackwell and one sister, Donna Kay Frazier of Blackwell; two granddaughters, Brittany and Camy McDaris both of Collinsville, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Michael Lynn McDaris.
