Richard Butch Law, 65, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the son of Hugh and Martha Ogburn Law. He was born on December 9, 1943 in Corning, Iowa and died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the Perry Memorial Hospital. Butch was the first kid in Corning to have a 3-speed bike on which he easily finished his paper route. He was a great snooker player and race car driver. His love of motorcycles began early with his first one being a 1946 Harley Davidson Knucklehead Chopper at sixteen years of age. Butch served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He enlisted in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1967. He served on the USS Wasp and USS Ticonderoga as a nuclear weapons loader, aircraft mechanic and member of the submarine squad 31, reaching rank of E-3. Butch married Kim Womack on October 23, 1982 in Perry, Oklahoma. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Butch never met a stranger. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Butch is survived by his wife, Kim; one son, Tony Law and his wife, Tammy, of Perry, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Ally Law, Rowdy Law and Brodie Law, all of Perry, Oklahoma and one sister, Patty Wilson of Perry, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cesslee Morgan Law, his parents and two brothers, Ronald Law and Bob Law.
