R. V. Wagner, 79, of Blackwell, Oklahoma was the son of John and Iva Larimore Wagner. He was born March 10, 1926 in Eagleton, Arkansas and died Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at the Integris Blackwell Regional Hospital, Blackwell, Oklahoma. Graveside Service are set for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005 in the Braman Cemetery, Braman, Oklahoma with Rev. Mike Brannon officiating. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home Blackwell, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Shriner Crippled Children Hospital in care of Dugger Funeral Home, 301 W. Blackwell Ave., Blackwell, Oklahoma, 74631. R. V. graduated from Gainesville High School, Gainesville, Texas; after school he worked as a machinist helper in the Gainesville area. He entered the U.S. Army in 1944 where he served with the 28th Reconnaissance Troop Mechanized Unit as a radio operator. He was decorated with several ribbons and three bronze stars before he was discharged in 1946. R. V. and Jetta Wood where married July 19, 1968 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.. He was employed with Atlantic Richfield Oil Company retiring in 198l when they moved to Blackwell from Garber. He then operated his own oil field consultant business for six years before retiring in 1987. R. V. was a member of the Masonic Lodge-Chikaskia 104, Lions Club, and V.F.W. Post 2855. He also actively served the Wheatheart Nutrition Center from 1987 till his death. He is survived by his wife Jetta of the home; his son, Gary Cramer, and his wife Anita of Wichita, Kansas; his daughters, Kathy Doyal of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Lee Ann Nimmo and her husband, Joe of Rogers, Arkansas; his sisters, Shelba Wilson of McPherson, Kansas, Colene Ankerholz of Inman, Kansas; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Iva; two sons, Chris and Johnny Wagner; two sisters, Mozelle and Loretta.
