P.J. Miner

January 25, 1930 — November 12, 2010

P.J. Junior Miner went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 12, 2010. He was at his home in Garber at the time of his death. He was born to Oliver and Sylvia Davidson Miner on January 25, 1930 in Wichita, Kansas. He was married to Vanonda Wise in 1949 and one daughter was born from this union. He then married Fern Marie Sullivan in 1951 and three children came from this union. Fern preceded him in death in 1989. Junior then married Chris Meyer in 1992. Junior loved hunting, fishing and camping. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge. When he wasnt fishing he enjoyed dancing as a favorite pastime. He enjoyed all his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, including all his stepgrandkids he acquired. He was delighted to receive a redheaded greatgrandson after all he had finally passed the red hair down. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2010 at the BrownDugger Funeral Home Chapel in Perry. Pastor Steve V. Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Red Rock Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Hospice Circle of Love in Enid in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Junior is survived by Chris, of the home. He is also survived by two daughters, Tonda McAvoy of Florida and Pam Miner of Perry. His two sons and their wives, Bill and Darelyn Miner of Perry, and Terry and Donetta Miner of Pawnee. He is survived by one brother, Earl and his wife Shirley Miner of Stillwater. His is survived by fourteen grandchildren, Jennifer Eyler, Chasity Miner, Vanessa Davenport, Jared Miner and wife Emily, J.R. Terry Miner, Cameron and Landon Miner, Brandon Douglas, Vanonda ODell, Tammy ODell, Craig ODell, Kyle King and Amy ODell. He is also survived by seven greatgrandchildren, Madalynn, Preslei and Grayson Miner, Ryan Miner, Lovlei Davenport, Hunter and Jaxon Miner. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Ron and Trudy Miller, Brett and Kelli Miller, and Marty and Shannon Meyer and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreatgrandchildren.
