Ophelia Warner

October 6, 1930 — July 2, 2014

Ophelia L. Warner, 83, was born October 6, 1930 to John and Stevella Carter Hogg. She passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be 2pm, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Perry with Reverend Andrew Gilstrap officiating. Interment will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 8am to 8pm, Sunday 1pm to 8pm, and Monday 8am to 8pm. Arrangements are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma.
Ophelia was employed by Oklahoma Furniture Factory, where she assembled and upholstered furniture. She then went to work for and later retired from Guthrie Job Corp as a resident advisor. On September 21, 1986, Ophelia Hogg was united in marriage to Wilford Warner in Seward, Oklahoma. She grew up and was baptized at St. Matthews in Seward currently known as United Baptist Church. After moving to Perry, Ophelia and Wilford attended New Prospect Baptist Church. Ophelia was a member of the Eastern Stars and Heroines of Jericho. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, going to Las Vegas, and collecting knickknacks.
Ophelia is survived by her son, Alfred Hogg of Perry, Oklahoma sister, Louis Traylor of Midwest City, Oklahoma three grandchildren, Alfred Hogg II, Danisha Hogg, and Tyree Robinson five greatgrandchildren, Talisha, Anthony, Travon, Jamall, and Daziyah Hogg one greatgreat granddaughter, Nevaeh Hogg and one daughterinlaw, Mary Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband three brothers and eight sisters.
Memorial may be made to the Alzheimers Association, in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th, Perry, OK 73077.
