Norma Sullins

Norma Jean Sullins, 77, of Red Rock, Oklahoma, passed away with her family at her side, Saturday, October 18, 2008 in the Blackwell Regional Hospital in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She was born in Worland, Wyoming, November 12, 1930 to Roy Ernest and Elsie Mae Hayne Foreman. Her family moved back to a farm near Red Rock, Oklahoma when she was four years old. She attended Red Rock public schools, graduating in 1948. On December 30, 1954, Norma Jean married Darrell Sullins in Red Rock, Oklahoma, at her parents' home. The couple established a home northwest of Red Rock where they farmed and raised cattle. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2008 in the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Perry. Gerald Stewart will officiate. Interment will be in Red Rock Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Norma Jean is survived by her husband, Darrell Sullins; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kathryn Sullins of Red Rock, Oklahoma; daughter, Valinda Sullins of Red Rock, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Zane and Kailey Sullins of Red Rock, Oklahoma; sister and brother-in-law, Clara and J.A. Megenity, sister-in-law, Evelyn Sullins, all of Red Rock, Oklahoma, sister, Donna Hopper of Norman, Oklahoma, sister-in-law, Joyce Sullins of Sierra Vista, Arizona, brother-in-law, Charles Robert Cooper of Perry, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel Sullins; sister, Marie Cooper; brother-in-law, Charles Hopper; two sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law.
