Norma Green

Norma L. Green was born October 22, 1942 in Enid, Oklahoma to David and Esther (Boese) Buller. She passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at her home in Perry, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 13 days.

Norma graduated from Enid High School class of 1960. She was a wonderful wife for 55 years and a loving, caring mother. She had a heart for her Lord, for her family, and for others. Norma married her sweetheart, Teddy James Green on June 19, 1960. Shortly thereafter they started their family. She was a wonderful homemaker. Norma was very active in her church. She taught pre-K Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, she cooked at church with her best friend Mary Jane Dyess, worked in the church library and food pantry, taught a ladies Bible Study and taught a Senior Adult Sunday School Class. She was a beautiful prayer warrior for others. She now lives with her Lord and Savior. She will be missed but we know God has healed her completely and she is now singing His praises with Him in person.

Norma is survived by three children, David Green and his wife, Jan of Tulsa, Warren Green of Perry, and Becky Dyer and her husband David of Blairsville, GA; five grandchildren, Joshua Dyer, Chris Dyer, Whitney Dyer, Abigail Green and Landin Green, two step sisters, Juna Lee Armstrong of Tennessee and Darlene Vanlandingham of Oxnard, California and one step brother Wilbur Hale of Oxnard, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harold Buller and one step brother Larry Hale.

The family will have a private time with Momma Wed. July 8, 2015, 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Public viewing is scheduled from 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 8pm, with the family greeting friends and family on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 10 A.M at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kim Hays officiating. Interment will follow in Morris Heights Cemetery in Orlando, Oklahoma. (Take I-35 South, right on Hwy 51, ½ mile on right).
