Millie Rupp, 101, of Perry, Oklahoma was the sixth child born to Edward and Marie Schuette Beier. She was born March 1, 1903 in Wolhymien, Russia and died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at Green Valley Nursing Home. When she was five years old, she came to America with her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Her family arrived in Baltimore, Maryland in July, 1908 and settled in Morrison, Oklahoma. In 1920, she moved with her family to a farm near Sumner, Oklahoma. On March 1, 1921, she and Rudolph A. Rupp were married in Noble County, Oklahoma. Millie and her husband resided in the Sumner, Morrison, Lucien and Perry areas. Millie worked for Eddie Parker and Tony and Marilee Macias at the Kumback in Perry for many years. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and was well known for the wonderful cinnamon rolls she made. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2004 at Zion Lutheran Church. Rev. Ben Mertz will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Millie is survived by two sons, A. H. Rupp and Clinton Rupp, both of Perry, Oklahoma; two daughters, Marjorie Voise, of Perry, Oklahoma and Dorothy Foster of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Winnie Voise, and Bertha Frank, both of Perry, Oklahoma.
