Mildred Stotts

Mildred Ilene Stotts, 90, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Clarence C. and Opal Beuchaw Goodnight. She was born on October 11, 1921 in Marshall, Oklahoma and died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at her residence in Lucien, Oklahoma. On September 16, 1944 Mildred married her best friend, Donald Cassius Stotts in Enid, Oklahoma. Donald preceded her in death on September 23, 1978. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, canning, and listening to brail books on tape and all types of music especially country. Mildred loved spending time cooking for her family and friends. Mildred was a member of the Eastside Quilting Club in Covington, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma. Her grandson, Shawn Stotts will officiate. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Mildred is survived by her three sons, Mike Stotts and his wife, Brenda of Lucien, Oklahoma Jack Stotts and Jerry Stotts both of Perry, Oklahoma seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stotts her parents, Clarence and Opal Goodnight one sister and one brother.
