Mildred Combrink

Mildred Mid Combrink, 88, of Billings, Oklahoma was the daughter of Otis Carl and Elsie Muriel Snyder Engle. She was born December 11, 1920 at Wellington, Kansas and died Monday, April 6, 2009 at her home. On May 22, 1937, she and Freeman Combrink were married at Three Sands, Oklahoma. A former resident of Garber, Oklahoma, Mid moved to the Billings community in 1961. She was employed as a CMA at the Billings Fairchild Center before she retired. Mid was a member of the First Baptist Church in Billings and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the First Baptist Church at Billings. Rev. Floyd Westfall will officiate. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery at Billings. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home of Billings. Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or the First Baptist Church of Billings in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Mid is survived by three daughters, Melva Kabetzke and her husband DeWayne, of Amarillo, Texas, Kathleen Strohmeyer and her husband, Chuck, of Enid, Oklahoma and Jan Matteson and her husband, Bruce, of Billings, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, Dale Engle and his wife, Nadine, of Garber, Oklahoma and Glen Engle and his wife, Gerry, of Taft, California; and one sister, Mary Payne and her husband, Tyree, of Mounds, Oklahoma. In addition to her husband, Freeman, she was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Elsie Engle; four brothers, Robert Engle, Jack Engle, Ross Engle and an infant, Otis Carl Engle; and one great-grandson, Trevor Matteson.
