Michael Kangas

Michael K. Kangas, 47, of Stillwater, Oklahoma was the son of Andrew and Margaret Quella Kangas. He was born January 19, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois and died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 in Appleton, Wisconsin. On August 13, 1988, he and Bea Ann Kuehne were married in Portal Valley, California. Michael was a member of Sunnybrook Christian Church. He was active in his children's lives. He coached his son Mitchell's baseball games and enjoyed watching his daughters' volleyball games. Michael enjoyed spending time with his kids and going to the lake. Private funeral services will be held. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Kangas Children's Scholarship Fund in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077 or taken to Exchange Bank and Trust in Perry or Stillwater. In addition to his wife, Bea Ann, Michael is survived by one son, Mitchell Kangas and two daughters, Amy Kangas and Mary Kangas, all of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his parents, Andrew and Margaret Kangas, of Appleton, Wisconsin; two brothers, Andy Kangas, of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Joe Kangas, of Appleton, Wisconsin; and one sister, Bobbi Emmers, of Wilson, North Carolina.
