Maydean Garrett

Maydean Irlean Oldenburg Garrett has gone to be with her beloved Levi.  She was 89 years old, born in rural Orlando, OK on November 20, 1932.  The daughter of Frank Oldenburg and his wife Irlean Beliele Oldenburg.  She attended Orlando schools where she made many friends.  She met the love of her live, Levi Garrett and the were married on June 1st, 1975.  She was a talented seamstress, and her most beautiful creations were her quilts & Victorian dresses. She enjoyed reading Danielle Steele, doing crossword & jigsaw puzzles, and had quite the green thumb.  She surrounded herself with pictures of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Levi, daughter Janella Garrett, and brother Frank Oldenburg, JR.

Maydean is survived by her son Mike Clark and his wife Tracy of Fayetteville, AR, son Terry Clark of Westville, OK, son Trinton Garrett of New York, son Eddie Garrett of Texas, grandson Sean Clark and his wife Sarah of Westville, OK,  grandson Jeremy Clark and his wife Michelle of Monterey, CA, grandson Justin Clark of Fayetteville, AR, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter, many nieces and nephews, as well as the staff at Perry Green Valley Nursing Center and many friends made there.

Friends are welcome to stop by Brown Dugger Funeral Home of Perry on Tuesday December 21, from 8 to 5 to sign her book and pay their respects.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22 at 2 pm at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery of Mulhall, OK.  Please send flowers to the funeral home.  The minister Josh Bell will officiate the service.  Casket bearers will include Dale Clark, John Henry Clark, Justin Clark, Caleb Harrison, Randy Fields, and Mike Murphy.
