May Dunford, 72, of Perry, Oklahoma, was born on July 18, 1938 to John William and Alma Margaret Teutken Howell in Sumner, Oklahoma and God called her home on June 10, 2011. She married Richard Dunford on April 24, 1959 at the First Baptist Church in Perry. The couple enjoyed riding their motorcycle. Their goal was to make it to all 50 states and they made it to all of the lower 48. May retired from Ditch Witch after twenty years of service. She was also a telephone operator for eight years and the owner of Cooper Motor Company, which was sold in 1985. It was family owned for over fifty one years. Family was the most important thing to her. May and Richard were always seen together and were often referred to as the cutest couple. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Gold Wing GWRRA and the International Twin Convention. Grandmas winging it on her Gold Wing in Heaven Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Perry, Oklahoma. Pastor Albert Quick will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at BrownDugger Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband Richard, of the home two daughters, Lisa Jeffrey and her husband Joe, of Morrison, Oklahoma, Sheila Stueve and her husband Monty, of Perry, Oklahoma three sisters, Delcie Seat and her husband Gene, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Faye Richardson, of Perry, Oklahoma, Linda Fischer and her husband Larry, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma four grandchildren, Justin Jeffrey and his fianceacute, Caitlan, Courtney Jeffrey, all of Morrison, Oklahoma, Cooper Skluzacek, and Kendalyn Stueve, both of Perry, Oklahoma her motherinlaw Lillie Dunford of Perry, Oklahoma one sisterinlaw Cheryl Hansing and her husband, Keith, of Stillwater, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews. May was preceded in death by an infant son, Ralph Brett infant daughter, Shelly Renee and her parents John and Alma Howell two brothers inlaw Ray Richardson, Ted Vasek and fatherinlaw Dick Dunford.
