Mary Riddle

Mary Norene Riddle Departed This life on January 10, 2022, to be with her lord and savior. She was born and raised on the family farm west of Ceres in Noble County Oklahoma, on October 25, 1946, the youngest of three children.

Graduated Valedictorian from Red Rock High School 1964. Attended Northern Oklahoma College, where she returned in 1985 to earn an Associates degree in Business Administration.

Living her entire life in Noble Co, she spent most of her life working in her father’s welding shop, which she later co-owned and operated. Norene discovered a love of cooking and baking early in life. She owned and operated two different cafés in her life. She was known by several local customers as the “Pie Lady”, she had pies and baked goods prepared for guests at a moments notice. Her delicious cooking and baking will be most missed by those who love her.

Through three marriages, she is survived by one son, Troy D. Riddle and his wife Mary J. Riddle of Chelsea Oklahoma. She is also survived by two grandsons, Justin H. Riddle of Catoosa Oklahoma, and Gregory R. Riddle and his wife Chelsea L. Riddle of Verdigris Oklahoma. Norene also had five nieces and one nephew.

She enjoyed being outside tending her yard, gardens, and her flower beds. Other hobbies included crocheting and sewing, she was also gifted at playing the piano.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Marietta (Kidd) Riddle of Ceres Oklahoma, Her brothers Henry Riddle and his wife Joella of Wichita Kansas, Donald Riddle of Ada Oklahoma. And a very special “ornery” son Ty Lee Pitman

Friends and family are welcome to stop by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry to pay their respects and sign her guest book on Wednesday   1/12 and Thursday 1/13 from 10 am until 5 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at the Ceres Christian Church, in Ceres, OK on Friday, January 14, 2022 2 p.m.  with burial to follow at Ceres Cemetery.
