Mary L. Ann Roth Powell

Born June 3, 1929 at Del Norte, Colorado to parents, David William and Nellie Brown Roth. She passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 surrounded by her adoring family.
An only child, her parents took in and helped raise a family of 5 other children. Mary had a happy childhood growing up in the New Mexico logging camps, then the high desert ranch. Her adult life was spent raising a family in Garber, Oklahoma with her husband, Carl Powell, Sr. She enjoyed her work in the community, her church, public school cafeteria, and Rush Metal, in Billings, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Garber Christian Church in Garber, Oklahoma. Jody Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be at Garber Cemetery. Services are under the care of Dugger Funeral Home, Garber, Oklahoma.
Mary is survived by Carla (Gene) Henderson of Lahoma, Oklahoma, Marilyn (Larry) Rink of Covington, Oklahoma, Marietta (Marc) Bolz of Covington, Oklahoma, Carl Powell, Jr. of the home, and Roy (Crystal) Powell of Enid, Oklahoma. 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 gr. great grandchildren, and counting, Wallace (Marva) Walker, of her extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl, Sr., her daughter, Ravenna (Ray) Bennett, and grandson, Daniel Windler.
