Mary Knott

Mary Olga Knott, 83, of Billings, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Gilbert and Ruth Larrson Masters. She was born on October 27, 1920 in Medicine Hat, Alberta Canada and died Thursday, January 8, 2004 at the Perry Memorial Hospital. She was a 1939 graduate of Billings High School. Mary and Tom Logan Knott were married on November 4, 1941 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2002. Mary worked at the Billings Fairchild Center until she retired in 1995. She enjoyed gardening, music, athletics and her family. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilary and the First United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2004 at the Billings Union Cemetery. Rev. Russell Betz and Rev. John R. Ferguson will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home, Billings, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Billings Ambulance Fund in care of Dugger Funeral Home. Mary is survived by two sons, Tom Knott and his wife, Jana, of Norman, Oklahoma and Roger Knott and his wife, Valerie, of Perry, Oklahoma; one daughter, Carolyn Buchanan of Wakita, Oklahoma; four granddaughters, Amy Knott of Wysox, Pennsylvania, Heather Knott and Alicia Knott, both of Perry, Oklahoma and Dena Phillips of Denver, Colorado; four grandsons, Gregory Buchanan of Norfolk, Virginia, Micheal Knott and Travis Kime, both of Perry, Oklahoma and Rodney Buchanan of Wichita, Kansas; seven great-grandchildren and three sisters, June Burrows of Barnsdale, Oklahoma, Ina Sengstock of Sun City West, Arizona and Flossie Bliss of Sun City, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Ruth Masters; one son, Micheal Gilbert Knott and her husband, Tom Logan Knott.
