Mary Margaret Golden, age 93, of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, formerly of Perry, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Hospice House in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.
A private family service will be held at the Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma under the direction of the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Friends may leave online condolences at www.brown-duggerfuneralhome.com
Visitation hours will be from noon to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
Margaret was born July 3, 1923 in Drumright, Oklahoma to George and Bessie (Payton) Miller. She grew up primarily in that area in Gulf Oil Camps and attended school at Three Sands, Oklahoma.
On April 6, 1947 Margaret married Walter Marvin Golden in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Margaret worked as a telephone operator and then as a stay at home Mom. She was a member of the First Christian Church and later First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include one son Kim and wife Sheryl Golden of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; son-in-law Rich Ferrell; Grandchildren Chris Simon and wife Teresa, Mandi Justus and husband Seth all of Perry, Rebecca McGee and husband J.R., Michala Iverson and husband Mark all of Boise, Idaho and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, daughter Theresa Ferrell; two brothers Ray and Leonard Miller; and one sister Eilene Travis.
She will be dearly missed by her family as family meant everything to her.
