Mary Edmondson

Mary Leona Edmondson, 89, was the daughter of Timothy Franklin and Bessie Maude Wayman Perkins. She was born on August 21, 1920 in Perry, Oklahoma and died Friday, August 13, 2010 at Perry Memorial Hospital. On July 15, 1966, Mary married O.K. Edmondson. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1982. Mary enjoyed going to the Senior Citizen Center, league bowling, cooking, canning, flowers, playing cards and doing word search. She will always be remembered for making the best dill pickles, cinnamon rolls and chicken noodles. Mary loved spending time with her grandkids and greatgrandkids. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the BrownDugger Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jack Gert will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 at BrownDugger Funeral Home. Mary is survived by three sons, Ernie Moore and his wife, Mary, Gary Moore and his wife, Lana, and Lloyd Moore and his wife, Sue, all of Perry, Oklahoma two stepsons, Bob Edmondson and his wife, Dianne, of Denton, Texas and Gerald Edmondson and his wife, Lynna, of Tulsa, Oklahoma one step daughter, Sharon Pearson and her husband, Ray, of Greenville, Texas fourteen grandchildren, Vickie Edwards and her husband, Scott, Dean Moore and Pam Frazier and her husband, Matt, all of Perry, Oklahoma, Kevin Moore and his wife, Becky, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Debbie Hutson and her husband, Danny, of Huntsville, Alabama, Tammy Chambers of Moore, Oklahoma, Darrell Chambers of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Christine Scott and her husband, Brian, of Vinita, Oklahoma, Tracy Moore of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Rhonda Nix of Mustang, Oklahoma, Kimberly Henry of Rhode Island, Trisa Percevecz, Lynsi Bowles and Brandi Savage, all of Texas and numerous other grandchildren numerous greatgrandchildren and one sister, Faye Dollar of Perry, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.K. Edmondson one son, Robert Lee Moore one stepson, Ralph Edmondson one stepdaughter, Judy Edmondson her parents, Timothy and Bessie Perkins three sisters, Gladys Danuser, Violet Carpenter, Pearl Baumgartner and one brother, John Perkins.
