Marvin Gene Hasenfratz, 79, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the son of Adam Joseph and Mary Margaret Ewy Hasenfratz. He was born on November 2, 1932 in Perry, Oklahoma and died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Perry Memorial Hospital, Perry, Oklahoma. He graduated from Sumner High School in 1951. After high school Marvin served his country in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. He enjoyed western movies, puzzles, wood working and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. On May 15, 1953 Marvin married his sweetheart and best friend Emma Lou Grim in Fort Hood, Texas. She preceded him in death on June 16, 2002. Marvin was a member of the Perry Elks Lodge where he served as the Exalted Ruler several times as well as held various offices. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he also served as a deacon. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma. Pastor Albert Quick will officiate. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Elks Lodge Education Fund or the Perry Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012 at BrownDugger Funeral Home. Marvin is survived by his son Danny Hasenfratz and his wife, Johnna of Stillwater, Oklahoma his daughter, Debbie Beasley of Perry, Oklahoma three grandchildren, Cody John Beasley and Carol of Morrison, Oklahoma, Katie Jo Auteri of Dearborn, Michigan, Justin Auteri of Larned, Kansas two great grandchildren, Savannah Beasley and Tripp Beasley of Morrison, Oklahoma two brothers, Wayne Hasenfratz and his wife, Nancy of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Adam Hasenfratz and his wife, Michelle of Edmond, Oklahoma one brotherinlaw, Bud Grim of Perry, Oklahoma, one sisterinlaw LaDonna Hodge of Edmond, Oklahoma loving companion of nine years Betty Bowers of Stillwater, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Emma Lou and his parents, Adam and Mary Hasenfratz.
