Mamie T. Mouser, 98, of Seminole, Florida, formerly of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of David and Sarah Jane Essman Adams. She was born December 19, 1905 near Heavener, Oklahoma and died Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Seminole, Florida. She and Joseph W. Mouser were married in 1932. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1989. Mamie moved to Noble County from Cleveland, Oklahoma and lived in this community 60 years before making her home at Seminole, Florida. She was a homemaker and a devout Christian. Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2004 in the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services will be under direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Methodist Soup Kitchen or Perry Senior Citizens Center in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Survivors are three sons, Vernon Friend, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Willie J. Mouser, of Guthrie, Oklahoma and Austin D. Mouser, of Liberal, Kansas; four daughters, Marie Roberts, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rena Bode, of Perry, Oklahoma, Jane Green, of Seminole, Florida and Jeanne Klein, of Spring Hill, Florida; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Her parents, her husband, Joe Mouser, two sons, Leon Friend and Ronnie Mouser, an infant daughter, one grandson, Delbert Bode, six brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
