Louis Lou Blowers, 59, of Garber, Oklahoma, was the son of Clifford Gerald, and Edna Mae Standiford Blowers. He was born on March 23, 1954 in Coldwater City, Michigan and died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Integris Bass Pavilion, in Enid, Oklahoma. Lou served his country in the United States Air Force and the United States Marine Corp received an honorable discharge in 1998. During his military service he was honored with a National Defense Service Medal. He received an associates degree of Military Science in Advanced Electronics. Lou was a member of the American Legion, and NRA. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Garber, Oklahoma. Pastor Tom LeGrand will officiate. Interment will be in Garber Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home, Garber, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Veterans Home in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Garber, Oklahoma 73738. Lou is survived by four sons, Eric D. Blowers of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kyle Clayton of New York, New York, Jeremy Clayton and Louis A. Blowers II both of Enid, Oklahoma three daughters, Nicole Blowers Shultz and her husband, Michael of Plant City, Florida, Sam Blowers of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Judith ScottClayton mother, Edna Straupe of Utah two brothers, Dale Blowers of Utah, Clifford Blowers Jr. of Michigan two sisters, Mina K. BlowersHinzes of Texas, Betty Jean Blowers of New York six grandchildren, Blake Lawrence and Amanda Lawrence both of Plant City, Florida, David James Blowers of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Astrid Clayton, Beatrix Clayton both of New York, New York, Brionna Clayton of Enid, Oklahoma.
