Lois V. LeCounte Fleeger passed away in her sleep on April 1, 2005 at the age of 78. She was born on November 8, 1926 to John F. and Anna May Heizer LeCounte in Blackwell, Oklahoma. A celebration of her life is planned for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the First Church of God, Blackwell, Oklahoma with Dr. Doyle Fortney officiating. Interment will follow in the Deer Creek Cemetery, Deer Creek, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home, Blackwell, Oklahoma. Lois was educated in and around Blackwell, graduating from high school in Caldwell, Kansas in 1945. She has lived in Oklahoma most of her life, except for a few years in Michigan, Kansas, and Indiana. While living in Ponca City she was president of the Kay-Noble Medical Auxiliary. She was on the Town Council while in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. From 1980 to 1999, she owned and operated a convenience store in eastern Oklahoma. She was assisted in operating the store by her youngest son, Anthony Webb from 1989 to 1999. She enjoyed reading, handwork, and all types of puzzles. She also enjoyed bowling and received many trophies. Lois was known and loved for her sense of humor. She is survived by four sons, Charles Milton Webb and his wife, Susan of Denton, Texas, Tracy Ferrell Webb and his wife, Karen of Edmond, Oklahoma, Clayton James Webb of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Anthony Wayne Webb of Blackwell, Oklahoma; she has eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; three sisters, Leona Montgomery and Jacqueline Pinnell both of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Iva May Johns and her husband, Victor of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her nieces, nephews and many loving cousins. Preceding her in death are her parents.
