Lindsey Story

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved daughter, mother, niece and friend Lindsey Story of Orlando, Oklahoma. She was 32 years old.
A memorial service celebration of life will begin at 2 p.m. on June 5th, 2019 at the Methodist Church of Orlando, OK. The Methodist minister, Aridan, will officiate. Honorary Pallbearers are her cousins : Dustin Smith, Tony Smith, Connor Smith, Noah Smith, Sylus Smith, Archer Smith and Dean Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown-Duggar Funeral Home of Perry.
She was born to Mr. Chris Freeman and his wife Jana Elaine Smith Freeman on May 25, 1987 in Oklahoma City . She was raised in Oklahoma and settled down in Perkins OK. Lindsey attended Perkins Schools. She worked as a hair stylist after earning her cosmetology license. She also earned her degree in nursing as a CNA.
She was a beautiful soul with a kind heart. She will be missed beyond measure. She was always there to brighten the lives of others. She loved country music especially anything by Miranda Lambert. She also loved some classic rock such as Elton John, Tracy Chapman and Michael Jackson. Her most prized possession were her three daughters. She loved them to the moon and back. It was in April of 2006 that she became a mother for the first time. Then in May of 2009, she was blessed with her second bundle of joy. Finally in September of 2015 she received her last little blessing. Every day spent with her girls was filled with love, laughter, warmth, and gratitude.
She rejoins with her loved ones in heaven including her Mother Jana Elaine Smith, grandmother Raylene Smith and grandfather Roy Benningfield.

Left behind to cherish her memory and mourn her loss are her three daughters, Brooke Elaine Story, Bailey Blaine Story, and Blakely Jean Story. Her dad Ronal Benningfield, brother Andrew Benningfield and his wife Sarah, soon to be born niece Lylah Benningfield, grandfather Delmar Smith, grandmother Mary Benningfield, Uncle Randy Smith and his wife Robin, uncle Kelvin Smith, uncle Eric Smith and his wife Teri, Aunt Stacey and her husband Larry Meeker, Aunt Ronda Benningfield and a host of cousins as well as a special Boston terrier named Girlfriend.
