Lester Frank Williams, 92, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the son of Albert Boyd and Jessie Crabtree Williams. He was born October 2, 1916 at Yale, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Westhaven Nursing Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He served his country with the United States Army during World War II. On August 20, 1945, he and Helen Mae Donaldson were married at Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Lester was a successful business owner, owning W W Tank Truck Service for over 20 years before his retirement in 1969. He was a farmer and rancher, who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2008 in the Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion at Grace Hill Cemetery. Rev. Martin Foster will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry. Lester is survived by one daughter, Susan Ellis and her husband, Mark, of White Salmon, Washington; one daughter-in-law, Jackie Williams of Stillwater, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Josh Williams and his wife, Val-Ann, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Zackery Williams and his wife, Blair, of Edmond, Oklahoma and Cayenne Ellis of White Salmon, Washington; one sister, Lela, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, two sons, Ray Williams and Monte Williams, and his parents, Albert and Jessie Williams.
