Lestelle Whitcomb

Lestelle N. Whitcomb, 76, of Blackwell, Oklahoma died Sunday, March 19, 2006 at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Lestelle was born July 10, 1929 in Vici, Oklahoma to Akim and Clara Riling Cantrell. A private graveside service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home, Blackwell, Oklahoma. Lestelle was united in marriage to Harold Ernest Whitcomb on September 21, 1949 at the Church of Christ in Mooreland, Oklahoma. Harold preceded her in death June 15, 2005. They came to Blackwell from Udall, Kansas in May of 1991. Harold was employed with Beech Air Craft in Wichita, Kansas and Lestelle was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Ellen Hutton and her husband, Cecil of Alva, Oklahoma; one son, Harlan Whitcomb of Kansas; one sister, Mary Whitcomb of Wichita, Kansas; five grandchildren, Jesse Whitcomb, Jason Cox, Jeffrey Cox, Raven Whitcomb, Patricia Hutton; one great granddaughter, Jordan Cox; and numerous nieces and nephews. Including her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Nora Lee Cox and one grandson, Jeremy Cox.
