Leonard Martin Rupp, 94, of Perry, Oklahoma died Sunday, April 8, 2017, at the Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry, Oklahoma. He was the son of Martin and Margret (Lovekamp) Rupp, born on February 25, 1923, on a farm in the Sumner, Oklahoma community, east of Perry, Oklahoma.
Services for Mr. Rupp will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Grace Hill Cemetery with Albert Quick officiating.

Mr. Rupp was a lifelong resident of the Sumner and Perry communities, Leonard attended Windy Center and Sumner schools.
On July 10, 1946, he and Neva Hansen were married in the Lutheran parsonage in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They made their home in Sumner, Oklahoma. Neva preceded Leonard in death on January 2, 2002. Leonard was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, east of Perry.
Mr. Rupp was a farmer and rancher in the community and worked as a lumberyard worker. For 39 years, he was employed at Donaldson and Yahn Lumberyard and 6 years he worked for Dwain Kennedy and Sons.
Surviving Mr. Rupp is his son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Michelle Rupp of Perry, Oklahoma. One daughter-in-law, Joyce Rupp of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law, Zelma Rupp, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his wife, Neva, Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Margret Rupp; son, David Rupp, and brother, Richard Rupp.
