Leonard Briegge

Longtime FarmerRancher, Leonard Henry Briegge was born August 25, 1919 in Perry, Oklahoma to Gust and Ida Wilde Briegge. He passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at Green Valley Nursing Home at the age of 94 years old.
In December 1948, Leonard married Mary Jo Hickman and to this union one son was born. Leonard was a faithful member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Perry. He enjoyed dancing, going to cattle sales, and fishing.
Leonard is survived by two grandchildren, Clay Briegge and his wife, Carol of Perry, Oklahoma and Deena Rudd of Stillwater five greatgrandchildren, Ashlyn Postier and her husband, Dylan, Austin Allen, Kaytlyn Briegge, Kelby Rudd, and Karsyn Rudd three sistersinlaw, Beverly Dunn of Perry, Ag Klinglesmith of California, and Geneva Briegge of Perry and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents his wife, Mary Jo one son, Clayton Eugene Briegge and two brothers, Adolph and Rudolph Sonny Briegge.
Graveside services will be 10am, Thursday, August 14, 2014 in Grace Hill Cemetery with Pastor Dan Thimell officiating. Memorial may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th, Perry, OK 73077.
