Lena F. Steiner, 96, of Perry, Oklahoma, was born on November 1, 1914 to Hugh Ellsworth and Rosie Lee Anson McNeal in Perry, Oklahoma and passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She married Leonard M. Steiner on November 1, 1935 in Caldwell Kansas. The couple established their first home in Orlando, Oklahoma. They farmed and ranched in the Orlando and Perry areas and also owned and operated a custom harvester business for 19 years, traveling the wheat belt from Texas to the Canadian border and Montana. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1996. Lena enjoyed cooking meals for their custom harvesting business, fishing, dancing every Saturday night, and sewing. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Orlando, Oklahoma and Eastern Star. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the BrownDugger Funeral Home Chapel in Perry, Oklahoma. Rev. Martin Foster will officiate assisted by Sam Jerome. Interment will be in Lawnview Cemetery in Orlando. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church and Masonic Lodge in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. She is survived by one son Henry Steiner and his wife, Joy of Perry, Oklahoma one sister, Ruby Belle Gleason of Perry, Oklahoma two sistersinlaw Betty McNeal of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Ethel McNeal of Perry, Oklahoma one grandchild Jim Steiner and his wife, Christi, of Edmond, Oklahoma and two great grandchildren Emory Steiner and his wife, Jessica of Pearland, Texas and Austin Steiner of Edmond, Oklahoma.
