Klentin Redman

Klentin Edward Redman, 79, of Mulhall passed away at Perry Memorial Hospital on March 29, 2011. He was born April 22, 1931 in Newcastle, Oklahoma, to Glee Redman and Belle McLaughlin Redman. He was a 1950 graduate of Mulhall High School. Klentin married the love of his life Pauline Rink Redman in Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 8, 1953. Klentin served his country in the United States Air Force for four years and then went to work for Douglas Aircraft and then American Airlines in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a sheet metal mechanic. He later went to work for Tinker Air Force Base where he retired in November 1990 after twenty nine years as a Project Administrative Officer on the 135 tanker airplanes. He loved spending time with his family, playing basketball and watching his children and grandchildren play. His other love was riding horses and working on the farm. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, 504 South Knoblock Street, Stillwater, Oklahoma with Rev. Frank Kinast officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Mulhall, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home, Perry, Oklahoma. Memorials contribution may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Companion Hospice in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 North 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Viewing hours will be Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma. Klentin survived by his wife, Pauline of the home two sons, Rick Redman and his wife, Teresa and Terry Redman all of Mulhall, Oklahoma one daughter, Ronda Rawls of Guthrie, Oklahoma one brother, Kerm Redman and his wife, Guineal of Mulhall, Oklahoma one sister, Clara Ketch of Guthrie, Oklahoma six grandchildren, T.J. Norris and his wife, Heather of Edmond, Oklahoma Chrissy Canty and her husband, Stewart of Nacogdoches, Texas, Jed Redman and his wife, Carissa of Collinsville, Oklahoma Kelley Vaughn and her husband, John of Guthrie, Oklahoma, US Army 2nd Brigade PFC Chris Boren Ft. Drum, New York and, Army PFC Shelby Rawls of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma five greatgrandchildren, Maddox, Nick, Noah, Emalyn, and Alanna and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents sisters, Cleta HoweLee and Eva Louise Redman grandson, Anthony Redman and soninlaw, Kevin Rawls.
