Kathryn Peden

Kathryn Fern Johnson Peden, 85, Houston, Texas, formerly of Perry, Oklahoma was born May 12, 1918 at Lamont, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Jonah L. Foster and the former Elsie Anderson. She died June 10, 2003 at MHHS Continuing Care Hospital in Houston, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2003 at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Rev. Ed Cook will officiate. Arrangements are under direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Kathryn was a homemaker and mother. She had been a resident of the Houston area for 32 years and was a member of the Memorial Drive Christian Church in Houston. Survivors are two sons, Gary Peden and his wife, Verleen, and Greg Peden and his wife, Cynthia, all of Katy, Texas; five grandchildren, Daniel Peden, Kathryn Peden, Blake Peden, Brad Peden and Britt Peden; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Peden and Emily Grace Peden; and other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H., who died on May 6, 1971; her parents and her step-father, Henry Johnson.
