Judith Skidgel

December 8, 1951 — May 15, 2020

Perry

Judith Karen Kukuk Skidgel has gone to her heavenly home.  She was only 68 years old.  She was born on December 8, 1951 the daughter of Walter Kukuk and his bride Ethel Carrell Kukuk.  Born and raised in Perry, Judith graduated Perry High School in the 1969.  She then earned her LPN degree in Enid and spent 35 years working at Perry Green Valley nursing home.  During this time, Judith returned to college and earned her Bachelor’s Degree and R.N.  She then went on to Colonial Estates Nursing Home in Guthrie where she was the Director of Nursing for 5 years before retiring.  Judith loved and raised two boys in a house full of laughter and understanding.  She loved birds and enjoyed her birdhouses and feeders.  “Feed the birds,” she would always say.  She enjoyed fishing, collecting apples, and eating chocolate.  Judith was a fighter, a breast cancer survivor, a loving mother,  a dog’s best friend, a tomato soup connoisseur, and a great spoiler of grandchildren.

Friends are welcome to stop by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry to pay their condolences and sign her guest book on Tuesday (5/19/20) and Wednesday (5/20/20) from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
