Juanita May Krout, 79 of Billings, OK, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry, OK. She was born on July 22, 1937, in Morrison, Oklahoma, to Jake and Vera Mason Kent. She left her earthly life and went to be with her Lord Jesus, on Wednesday October 19, 2016.
She married the love of her life, Willis B. Krout on July 19, 1957 in Morrison, OK. The couple spent the next 59 years building their life and raising their family in Billings, Oklahoma. Juanita spent her days and most evenings, loving, nurturing and babysitting, the majority of the kids that grew up in Billings.
She worked for Billings Market Spot for several years before starting her career with Billings Public Schools. During her time on earth, Juanita developed numerous friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Juanita was a pillar in the Billings community. She was an active member of the FFA Mothers Club, a leader of the Christ Ambassadors Youth Group, as well as several other community organizations.
After retiring from Billings Public Schools in 1994, Juanita continued to devote her life to her husband, kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a way of making every person that she came in contact with feel special and loved.
She is survived by her husband Willis Krout, of the home. Sister Doris Mitchell of Morrison; Daughter Dianna Ditmore and husband Kent of Tonkawa; Son Rick Krout and wife Julieta of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Daughter-in-law Marilyn Rink and husband Larry of Douglas.
Seven Grandchildren, Christa Ramey and husband Quentin of Tonkawa; Kayce Davis and husband Edmond of Mustang; Kris Krout and wife Stacey of Covington; Leah Ditmore, of Tonkawa; Kara Milacek and husband Daniel of Waukomis; Rick Krout II, stationed in Okinawa, Japan; Alexa Krout of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Twelve Great Grandchildren, Kaelyn, Landri, and Coehn Ramey; Makayla, Makenzie, and Mariah Davis; Kynly and Kaes Krout; Kade Ditmore; Ava, Broox, and Brogan Milacek.
In addition to her brother and sister in-laws, she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, that she held very dear to her heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Roger Krout, grandson Daniel Windler and sister Joann Greenfield.
