Juanita Bartlett, 91, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Stacy and Mary Alpharetta Parr Stultz. She was born on July 2, 1915 in Arkansas City, Kansas and died Friday, March 9, 2007 at Hearthstone Assisted Living in Oklahoma City. Juanita married Earl F. Bartlett on October 19, 1936 in Arkansas City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2006. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry, dancing and cooking. Juanita had a great compassion for other people. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Perry and the Morrison Dance Club. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Perry. Chaplain Duane Snavely will officiate, assisted by Rev. Ed Cook. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Phil K. Bartlett Memorial in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Juanita is survived by three sons, Bill S. Bartlett and his wife, Jan, of Houston, Texas, Richard Earl Bartlett and his wife, Glenda, of Orinda, California and Gary L. Bartlett and his wife, Carolyn, of Medford, Oregon; one daughter, Judy Bartlett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Janetta Knabe of Derby, Kansas; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bartlett, one son, Phil K. Bartlett, her parents, Stacy and Mary Stultz and two brothers. The family gratefully acknowledges the entire staff of Hearthstone Living Center, Mercy Hospice of Oklahoma City and the Brown Sugars Personal Sitters for their intense love and special care.
