Joseph Cheney

Joseph Joey Charles Cheney was born May 28, 1979 in Lubbock, Texas to Chuck and Debra. He passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 in Perry, Oklahoma at the age of 35 years old.

Joey was a talented guitarist who was self taught and played by ear. He loved watching movies and the animal planet. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and animals. Joey was an avid reader and an amazing sketch artist.

Joey is survived by his father, Chuck Cheney and his wife, Kathy of Sadler, TX his mother, Debra Debbie Kaiser of Perry, OK one son, Aden Sebastian Cheney of Millersburg, PA one brother, Chad Cheney and his wife, Bobbi Jo of Denton, TX two sisters, Robin Goins of Craig, CO and Kelli Rae Kaiser of Ardmore, OK paternal grandfather, Kenneth Cheney of Perry, OK maternal grandmother, Reva Snodgrass of Perry, OK two nieces, Madilynn Lively and Chloe Goins and one nephew, Robert Cole Goins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Cheney and his maternal grandfather, Loren Snodgrass.

Services will be 1pm, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at BrownDugger Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ricky Capps officiating. Interment will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th, Perry, OK 73077. Arrangements are under the care of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma.
