In Loving Memory of JoLene Hutchison
On the solemn day of May 14, 2024, the world bid farewell to a remarkable soul, JoLene Hutchison. Her journey on this earth began on June 4, 1933, in the serene town of Ponca City, Oklahoma.
She married Fred Williams in 1952 and from this union came 2 sons and a daughter. She went on to marry Tony Hutchison in 1962 and from this union came another son.
JoLene led a fulfilling life dedicated to service and kindness. For over three decades, she devoted her time and effort as a custodian at Red Rock Schools before retiring from Frontier School in 1998. Her commitment and hard work left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path.
Beyond her professional achievements, JoLene was a cherished member of the Otoe Baptist Church of Red Rock. Her faith was unwavering, and her presence within the church community was a source of comfort and strength for many.
Education held great importance to JoLene, and in 1971, she accomplished a significant milestone by earning her GED. This achievement brought immense pride to her heart and inspired those around her.
Described as a small lady with an unyielding spirit, JoLene embodied resilience and determination. Whether it was tackling plumbing issues, working on electrical systems or cars, or baking delectable cakes for church gatherings, she approached every task with unwavering resolve. She enjoyed crocheting and doing word search puzzles.
On that peaceful day when she gently slipped away surrounded by loved ones in Red Rock, Oklahoma, JoLene left behind a legacy of love and perseverance that will endure through generations.
In the hearts of those who mourn her loss yet celebrate her life are her surviving family members: Caroline Carter (Wick) of Ponca City; Jimmy Williams (Karen) of Portland, Oregon; Richard Williams (Clydene) of Perry; Darrell Hutchison (Kelly) of Red Rock; along with 9 grandkids, 22 great-grandkids, and 11 great-great-grandkids. Additionally, she is survived by her sisters Judy Cooper (Phil) of Ark City and Jannie Mato (Harry) of Cushing as well as best friend Dolly Miller.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents, husband Tony, brothers Harold, Roy and Bill Robbins and sister Thelma Bennett.
As we gather to honor the memory of JoLene Hutchison, let us carry forward the lessons she imparted through her actions - compassion knows no bounds and strength can be found in the gentlest souls.
